Shane Newell

Shane Newell

Shane received his B.A. from Long Beach State, with a major in journalism and two minors in French and Spanish. He worked for the Orange County Register as a staff writer for two summers, covering local news and features. Before he focused on print and online journalism, Shane interned at a public access TV station. A photographer and videographer, Shane is eager to expand his multimedia skills. He hopes to work as an investigative reporter who blends data and storytelling to write about abuses in government, politics and the environment. Can't find him on the Stanford campus? Shane is probably the only one wearing Los Angeles Dodgers gear.
