Katie Straub

Katie received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English with an emphasis in Creative Writing from Stanford University in spring 2014. She began her journalistic career writing stories in print and online for The Stanford Daily, The Stanford Arts Review, and The Mountain View Voice, as well as creating radio pieces for KZSU Stanford 90.1FM. She spent last summer interning at Chicago’s #1 radio news station, WBBM Newsradio. Her most beloved stories cover fine arts (her favorite extracurricular niche, but she is now following a new passion for reporting on technology, law, and public affairs. Katie hopes to explore the overlap of technology and journalistic practices while she pursues her Masters of Arts degree.
