Felix Petermann

Felix Petermann

Felix graduated from San Jose State University with a B.S. in Public Relations and a minor in Communication Studies. During his time at San Jose State, he participated in intercollegiate athletics and was part of the Spartans men’s soccer team. After being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in 2009, he became an active member of the diabetes community, writing for diabetes magazines and other industry-related publications, such as blogs and websites. In 2014 and 2016, he was an intern at diabetesDE, a German nonprofit organization that raises awareness for the disease itself and its long-term consequences. Felix hopes to build a career that combines his passion for sports and his experiences with diabetes.
