Erin Edwards commissioned as a Naval Aviator in 2012, after earning her bachelor’s degree in English from the United States Naval Academy. She has served as a Helicopter Aircraft Commander in two overseas deployments, as an Advanced Helicopter Instructor Pilot, and as the Protocol Officer for Commander Naval Forces Korea. The Pat Tillman Foundation has recognized her military and journalistic passions by naming her a 2023 Tillman Scholar. Most recently, Erin has written human-interest articles for “Comic Book Curious” and assisted as the COO, managing the website and a team of writers. At Stanford, she looks forward to giving voice to women in male-dominated fields. A minimalist at heart, she has lived in a VW Westfalia van, a 19’ Flying Cloud Airstream, and is excited to spend her Bay Area days onboard her 37’ Caribbean Sailing Yacht.
