Ana has extensive experience with reporting and corporate communications in her home country of Brazil and in Europe. Before joining Stanford, she was a part of the press and communications team at iMinds, a Belgian nonprofit research center and incubator founded by the Flemish Government. Ana began her journalism career doing investigative work for newspapers and magazines in Northeast Brazil. She progressed to national coverage through a trainee program with Globo TV, the country’s largest network. She holds a B.A. in journalism from the Federal University of Alagoas, Brazil. Due to folklore relayed by her grandmother, she is terrified of butterflies.
