    Mary Ann received her Bachelor of Arts degree with distinction from Stanford University in 2014 with a double major in English and French and with departmental honors. She is interested in political, governmental and ethics reporting, which originated from her local and statewide involvement in politics, as well as international legal and human rights issues. During the summers of 2012 and 2013, she interned on Capitol Hill for the current House Majority Leader and the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee. As an undergraduate, she worked for The Stanford Daily as News Desk Editor and a Senior Staff Writer. For two years, she has served and will continue to serve next year on the Stanford University Advisory Panel for Investment Responsibility and the Institutional Review Board for human non-medical research and is also serving on the Stanford Judicial Pool, which adjudicates honor code violations.
