Local Innovators Take the Stage at Mountain Views Startup Pitch Night

At Hacker Dojo in Mountain View, a free-admission “Start-Ups Mix and Pitch” night brought together local entrepreneurs, investors, and tech enthusiasts to share and showcase the latest ideas to a panel of Hacker Dojo board members.

Around 15 startup founders presented their ideas during the social hour event, where beer and chips were served by Hacker Dojo Executive Director, Eric Hess.

  • Audrey Widodo

    Audrey grew up in Jakarta and Singapore, then moved to Washington D.C. for college and graduated with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Maryland College Park in 2020. After graduation, Audrey worked at Metro TV and Metro Globe Network in Jakarta. She was a news presenter, producer and reporter for Jakarta Movers & Shakers, a business and economic program. She anchored the nightly news for Asia Prime & World News and hosted the entertainment program ShowBiz, interviewing artists and musicians. Her work has also been published in Voice of America and The Jakarta Post. At Stanford, Audrey focuses on becoming a data-driven journalist specializing in business and technology reporting while deepening her understanding of artificial intelligence. Outside the newsroom, Audrey loves running marathons, reading romance books and spending time with her Shiba Inu.

  • Hannah Woodworth

    Hannah Woodworth is a writer and advocate from Huntington Beach, California. Hannah served as the Undergraduate Student Body President at University of Southern California, successfully advancing an equity-centered agenda to expand affordability and wellness initiatives across campus. Hannah also served as a Communication Fellow for two members of Congress on Capitol Hill. While in D.C., Hannah’s work appeared in The Hill, Lohud, The Daily Trojan, Annenberg Media and elsewhere. Upon graduating, Hannah hopes to pursue a career at the intersection of journalism and technology to strengthen channels for ethical storytelling online.
