The national trend of criminalization of black school children

Stanford psychologists and sociologists dive deeper into the issues underlying a national trend of disproportionate and biased disciplinary actions against black students.

According to the Civil Rights Data Collection, a survey conducted by the Department of Education to gather information on education and civil rights issues in U.S. public schools, black students generally  compose a small fraction of the student body, but are overrepresented in the percentage of arrests.
