Tyler McIntosh will be graduating from Stanford University in 2016 with a B.S. in earth systems, after which point he will continue working toward an earth systems M.S. degree. Originally from Jackson, Wyoming, Tyler is interested in applied environmental science in the fields of land use and landscape analysis. He thinks that storytelling is crucial for communicating science to a diverse audience. He has worked as a researcher for the San Francisco Estuary Institute and as an editorial intern for the Jackson Hole News&Guide. Tyler is an avid outdoorsman and can often be found skiing, climbing or backpacking in the Tetons or Sierra Nevada.
