Kira Minehart is a master's student in the Earth Systems Program at Stanford University ('17). She studies strategies for translating science into story for public consumption. Kira is particularly interested in developing climate change education programs in rural areas. She also enjoys spending her time as an interpretive naturalist at Jasper Ridge Biological Preserve, Lake Tahoe and the Grand Canyon. Kira is passionate about public lands and hiking in as many national parks as she can.
