Isabel is a Stanford Ph.D. student in biology based at Hopkins Marine Station, studying the ecology of infectious diseases of humans and wildlife. Isabel loves reading and writing about good science. Her own research on disease dynamics has led her all over the world to work with animals from snails to frogs to owls to humans. A native San Franciscan, Isabel attended Colorado College before returning to California and joining the Stanford community.
