Mountain View residents turn to RVs in housing crisis

Faced with little relief from rising rents in the Bay Area, Mountain View residents are turning to RVs and trailers for housing.

But with a shortage of trailer parks in the region, waiting lists for a spot in a park can be hundreds of people long.

With few alternatives, many Mountain View residents park their RVs on the city’s streets, a solution to the housing crisis that comes with its own set of challenges — as explored in the video above.
